Default UUC Exhausts Stink!
My VM3 is starting to stink. It's not the brand of gas, I only use Texaco, its not the grade, i only use 93. It must be the winterizers or something but my VM3 stinks like eggs. Now some may say this is a weird situation but i had the UUC Velocimax exhaust on my 95 M3 and it did the same thing after about the same mileage (9-10k). Does UUC use a weird packing in their mufflers? What gives this is two UUC Systems ive owned on two different cars that stink like ****.

Wierd, usually sulfur smells are from a bad cat.

do S4 cats usually bite the dust after 32k? How would i go about diagnosing this problem?

Default You can remove the cats and see if the elements are broken. Tap on them first and see if they rattl
e. If the rattle then remove and inspect.

Default agreed and i've only ever experienced it with stainless exhausts...
i've heard about the bag Cat topic, but never experienced it myslef.
