to an s4 install? these are my first few steps with electrical wiring and any small difference would probably throw me off alot!
also, is hardwiring the better option to take (considering id have to keep pluggin the v1 in and out or swap it with my mobile phone recharger) or is the cigarette lighter good enough?
thx in advance

Same, Just done mine a week ago. (more)
I was glad to see the wire ends of the power adaptor were already fitted with spade type (+ side) and fork typr (-side) connectors, saving a trip to Radio Shack.
I do find that, for visor instalaltion, you need to jam something above the visor to allow an even kneel of the V1.
Hope it helps and enjoy.

Re: Here is what I did.
I took a 3 amp fuse, purple in color to stand out from all the other fuses. Then Inserted it into fuse 27 and plugged the V1 into it from the back side like all the other fuses. It is nice and clean. Doesn't look cheap. You do not see any wire like in almost everyone else's car. Then I can replace fuses only without taking any chances that I might harm the V1. Save the lighter. I am posting what I plan to do with the APR chip and lighter.
