V1 hardwire question

V1 hardwire question
While scoping out the fuse box and running the power cord for the direct power adapter for my V1, I noticed that my fuse slot 27 is filled (i have a 2000 sedan 6mt, btw).
Is it ok to just remove the fuse, or should I look for another slot?
Since I don't have ESP, would that be a reasonable fuse slot to use?
TIA

If you remove the drivers knee panel and look at the cluster of relays below the steering wheel
(and slightly to the left, iirc), you will see one labeled 75X.
Simply unscrew the nut and slide your positive wire on (using a crimp on 'ring tongue' terminal connector) and screw the nut back on. Use a suitable ground, of course, just like you would if you were using the fuses.
The 75X only comes on when the key is turned, making it perfect for radar detectors, boost gauges and other electronic goodies.
For pictures, simply search for "75X" and check 'Only hits with images'.
