I'm looking to get vag com from ross-tech as it is almost a necessity to anyone who wants to make modifications to their car, however, from what I understand the sample rate on my car (2001.5 S4 M-box) will be rather slow and data logging will be crappy. As such, I also plan to get ECU explorer from APR in addition. I was just wondering if anyone knew if I it is possible to run vag com with the ECUx cable or ECUx with a Ross-tech cable so that I don't need to buy two seperate cables.

A lot of people run both (and Lemmiwinks) with the one cable.

I know the HEX-USB works for all 3. I use USB-COM for VAG and Lemmi
