Received the VAG-COM Tool today. My laptop has seen very limited use so I had to wait until 2100 hours, had to charge the batteries before I could go out and play with it.

It seems to work quite well, informed me of several codes and let me clear them.

If anyone is in or around the Danbury CT area and would like to check it out post it or email me.

Is is fairly simple to use? I just had my check engine light come on, and it would be nice to know what is wrong. Does it come with a manual explaining all the codes? Mike

But you need the Bentley Publishers "Audi A4, S4 Official Factory Repair Manual 1996-2000 - Electronic Edition" or something else like it. I found the Bently manual very hard to use. Maybe I need more time with it -time I don't feel like assigning.
