Value of brand new K03s?
The turbos in my '01.5 S4 Avant went bad, and were replaced under warranty. I decided to upgrade to K04s, and as a result, I have a pair of brand new K03s from Audi. I'd like to sell them to recoup some of the cost from the K04 upgrade (which was pretty pricey).
What are the new K03s worth? Are the same turbos used for the A6 2.7T and Allroad 2.7T?

New K03s are over $2k list, and somebody told me a set was just on ebay for $1400, so I'll ask $1300/offer. Does that seem fair?

Re: out of curiosity, what was the cost of the k04 upgrade?
K04 turbos now run $2300-$2500 for the set (apparently there are supply and pricing spasms now), plus you need to buy 4 new inlet pipes to fit the K04s (they have larger inlets) for $600. Plus tax and shipping.
I still have to buy fuel injectors and software, at a minimum.

I just purchased (like yesterday) a 01 A6 and I have a bad turbo. I could really use them, any thoughts? I found a set with a 6 month warranty for 845 (no idea how many miles etc etc though). Can you shoot me an email?
