Verify timing and knock values please...
When Lemmi tuning, what values do you like to keep the timing correction (CF on 020 and 021) and knock (voltages on 026 and 027) below?

Opinions vary greatly here but most like to keep CF below 10 but for sure below 15 which has been...
reported to be the max. Recently someone reported that APR's ECUx might be able to read CF higher than 15 but this has not been verified. I just assume 15 degrees is the max the car can retard itself to be safe.
That being said, there has been some recent discussion about whether some cars will peg CFs at 15 and still be running safe vs. another that might be showing CFs of 12 and be closer to the knock threshold. Possible chip/tuner specific? I'm not sure we know the answer for sure.
As far as knock sensor values, most go for high teens/low 20's. VAG-COM reads a max of 28, IIRC and ECUx can read higher.
Remember, knock sensor voltage is only one variable that goes into the overall equation resulting in the car's overall timing correction.
Again, I'm not sure anyone knows all the variables but it seems clear the car uses more than just knock sensor voltage to determine CF.

Thanks. I'm in that range so that's good. Just wanted to check...
I'm curious to know what everyone looks at since it seems we have a lot of homebrew parameter adjustment going on out there. Kinda scary but also fun.
IATs, and O2 voltages are other parameters that I'm not certain where people run.

I don't bother looking at IATs and KVs. CFs in single digits unless super high temps and 02 voltages
in the .85-.88 range on 93/94. On 91 craptane, probably want it a bit richer (.87-.89) so that you keep things cooler.
