Like a dull whine/siren?
I had my turbos replaced, oh, 1000 miles ago, and while the sound my snails are making isn't as loud as the wail I used to hear, I can definitely hear a siren-ish whine in the cabin.
Running APR v5. I didn't "break in" the turbos since it didn't seem to make much sense. Over the 1000miles I've done maybe 20 WOT sprints through a few gears, and now the turbos make this noise.
Normal, or are my turbos dying *again*.

yeah mine have for a while now, almost 8k I would guess.
I had a set blow at 42k, I'm on pair #2. First set had the noise a bit, nothing bad, but went kaboom near redline in 2nd on a 95 degree day after some stop and go traffic. RIP.
Second set was dead quiet for the first couple thousand miles, couldn't hear them at *all*. Now they whistle when warm. Sometimes I get a tea kettle noise when under boost. I dunno, I'm just rollin with it.

Pick up an evo intake
then you'll really hear the snails twist. Also get to enjoy those little DV's fartin away when you let off the gas. It really is quite fun to hear the motor a bit more.
