Default WARNING: Dension not compatible with Nano

Just wired up a Dension IceLink Plus with dock cable to my 01.5 S4. I go to plug in my ipod Nano, and it didn't work. I called Dension and the tech support guy blames it on a faulty icelink.

I get a replacement kit sent days later (I had to pay shipping), install it. Same thing happens, no Nano compatibility.

Now the tech says, "it might be the Nano, try a regular ipod". I plug in my friends ipod and it worked perfectly. Now the tech blames it on my Nano's "faulty audio output". So I try my girlfriend's nano (a different batch #) still no Nano compatibility.

They say it is compatible with Nano- It isn't. Beware!

Now all they want to do is give me my money back. What about all the time it took to install the kit?

Does anybody have an Ice-Link that works with their Nano??

that stinks, but expecting them to refund labor might be a bit too much.

Default Maybe if one of you can get the right person on Denison on the phone...

One of the design folks, not the customer support reps...maybe you'll get somewhere.

Default I think they are the same people...

I think the dev guys are acting as the tech support...it's a very small company.

He was very defensive about his product.

Default Send it back and wait.

Maybe purchase it through one of their dealers, and approach the dealer with the issue and let them follow up with Denison. I noticed Best Buy is one of their dealers. Getting someone's attention at Best Buy should be easy enough, and if they make a call to Denison suggesting the product does not work as advertised, I would think that Denison would be VERY interested in resolving the issue quickly rather than putting a relationship with that customer at risk.

Default Return it. It's a cheap item that didn't work. at least they are not giving you trouble.......

returning it.

How long did it really take to install?

If it were me, I would have plugged it in, tried my Nano, realized it didn't work and pulled it out.

The whole deal should have taken you 1/2 hour maybe?

Did you run a bunch of wires before trying it?
