Warranty Covered?? Need Help!! VA

Was driving to work today when I went thru 2nd to third, shifted at 6K rpms and didn't let my foot off the gas. I have under 20K miles. GAIC X chip, DPs, cat back, K&N, Forge diverter valves and an upgraded TBB, and a 5 bar FPR.

The car is idling like ****, it barely wants to drive, some black smoke is coming out of the exhaust more than normal.

It sounds like it is misfiring real bad and feels real lumppy. The VAG tool showed multiple misfires and a bad EGT sensor (I think).

Question to you all is do I need to take off the Forge diverter valves and 5 bar FPR and stock it or will these parts not void my warranty?

Stock ECU is already back in.

Thanks for your help!!!

Umm, put everything back to stock if you want any chance.

It will also make it much easier for the technicians to diagnose the problem if it's all stock.

your air filter can void your warranty...

depends on your dealer, no one can answer this question unless they go to the same dealer you go to.

Make it look as stock as possible.

Can dealers tell if a new ECU has been installed?

Re: Can dealers tell if a new ECU has been installed?

Good question. I just put in the stock one and erased the codes with the vag tool.

How important is it to get the stock down pipes back on? I hear that is an 8 hr installation.

I'm sure that they can guess. Hard to prove.

Black smoke...more than normal? How much black smoke do you usually have?
