Warranty questions (how not to void)
Hi all,
I'm pretty much an s4 newbie. Got my 45K mile S4 a couple of weeks ago and it's Audi assured so I have about 2 years of warranty on the car.
What can I do that will not void the warranty?
I picked up a spare ECU w/apr chips so that wont be an issue but what about upgrading the BPV's and other weak points of the car with aftermarket parts?
Or should just replace the BPV's..etc.. with new stock parts.
Thanks in advance!

Depends on the dealer for the small stuff...
Spare ECU is required for any major stuff (Audi rep probe). 710N's are fine. Cat-back is usually universally accepted. DTS and BiPipe are tough to argue as well.
If your dealer is really good (mine is) they have no problems with mechanical boost gauges, downpipes and intake mods.
ECU the only big no-no as far as AOA is concerned. But you have that covered.
Experience: Two sets of Turbos installed under warranty with mods installed and spare ECU in. (Yea, I boosted the crap out of them, thats why they died)
How do you have 2yrs left on a 2000 Assured?

Mike,
Thanks for that great reply, the car is certified and from the original delivery date looks like I have almost the full 2 years/100K
