Water/Meth Injection Install, possible new intake set up pictures
Installed my Boost Cooler Stage 2 Maf setup over spring break. I used the stocker windsheild washer fluid tank. Havent yet connected the power but everything else is hooked up.
The 325cc nozzle sprays a lot of water. I connected it to the battery for 3 seconds to see if it works and there was a 6 inch wide puddle on the floor. Is that normal ?

Im thinking about trying this new intake setup. Putting a filter were my old SMIC went. But Before I do I was wondering what Audiworld thinks of it. You think it would work well ?

Yeah, thats normal for it to spray that much. When you connect the 12V directly to the pump, its at
full spray. Remember, its going through a nozzle, so the water will be misted into the throttle body, it wont pour like that.
As far as that intake setup, i considered that, but then decided against it. Its good for a CAI setup, but when it rains, it wont be fun. My friend had a 350Z with an airfilter down by the front bumper, and any sort of big puddle he had to go through, he was pretty much ****ed. Take into consideration how low youre mounting that filter. Its not worth the risk of blowing a MAF, or, worst case, hydrolocking your motor.
what i ended up doing instead is making an airduct and directing to the intake. the duct goes up at a good angle, so water is not going to get up there. nothing much to worry about here, but stilll a good fresh air source.
