Default Wednesday Morning Poll:
When you get in your car and start it up in the morning do you:

a) Immediately Start to Drive
b) Wait til the RPM's drop to idle
c) Wait even longer after the RPM's drop

I was in my friends volvo s60R and I was pretty surprised that at 6:30am on a cold morning he just starts it up and goes. So I was just wondering if doing option A while accellerating gently is a problem.

Default I start driving immediately everytime - that's everytime for 111,000miles - now, I stay out of......
boost but I do not let the car idle to warm up, I just drive it easy.

Default d. I wait for the vacuum to drop below 20" Hg
In the mornings I start the car, gather up my work materials, then leave. Idle time ~60-90 seconds

B, I don't go over 3000rpm till the oil is warm....(oil guage moves)
