Default Well, I am leaking oil, and coolant from what looks to the turbos...

bringing it in on friday. Anybody have anything similar and can this be possibly from the turbos. I looked underneath to see drips coming from the plastic skidplate so I couldn't see exactly where it was coming from, but looked like rear of the engine. 31k and chipped since 6k and this is my first real problem.

Default When I changed my oil a few months ago, there were some drippings on the skidplate under the

driver's side IC area (more towards the front of the car). Might've just been condensation, or oil spillage from a sloppy previous oil change. As far as I can tell, my turbo's are performing okay, but I'll have them check it the next time I'm in for regular service (in a month or two).

Default I had same thing. was "only" the rear seal...

if you remove the skidplate, it will (or mine did) appear that the oil is coming from the oilpan area (first change they did was the oilpan seal), but air currents move the oil up. Although, mine was oil only, no coolant.

Good luck,

Earnie

Default Check your coolant reservoir level...

and you see coolant leaking like this...

My coolant leaked due to a bad coolant pump. It took a week to get mine fixed but I only had coolant leak, no oil leak.

I had similar problem. It was just oil and it turned out to be leaking from the oil return line from the passenger side turbo.Unfortunately it took three trips to two different dealers to have problem correctedly diagnosed and fixed.Repair was very simple -replacement of O ring.

Default i had a rear engine coolant leak...

it turned out to be a loose pipe connector on one of the small tubes down there... the confusing part was that the coolant would only leak some of time- the audi tech guy explained to me as the particular pipe that was leaking does not have coolant flowing through it all the time- rather it turns on/off some sort of switch.

btw, how can coolant be leaking from the turbos? i thought oil cooled the turbos...

Default hmmmm...

Looks very similar. From the time they ordered the parts and thanksgiving holiday in between, service finally finished working on my car after a week. Been running strong since then and no more coolant leak.
