Default What are the best all-terrain/all-weather tires. I live in LA but will be traveling to mammoth, ...
big bear, in the occassional rain storm (ha ha), and daily driving at speed.

I have a tip '01 and will likely be chipping soon.

Stock wheels. etc...

How would these compare to the stock Michelin's (spelling?)?

I have the Dunlop SP 5000s in 235/45/17...great all-season tire.

Goodyear Hummer M/T, but you may need to raise your car about 4 feet to fit.:-)
