I've been looking at this too. Love those Recaros in the Evo.

Need different adapters from Recaro (fit A4), which aren't available in the States for legal reasons.

Big issue is side airbags (in the seats). Removing the seats requires a "special" resistor be put in the wiring harness so the computer thinks the side airbags are still there.

Installing is NOT a bolt-in proposition, but you can certainly fabricate a solution if you're willing to spend a lot to achieve it.
