Default what is the correct way to do THROTTLE ADAPTATION

don't start the engine and leave it on for 3-4 minute from APR chip, but 27 SEC from mtm chip

Throttle Adaptation
For VWTOOL, (ignition ON, engine OFF!) select ENGINE, then BASIC SETTINGS, then entry 060 in the data block select window and press "accept". You can then hear the engine throttle cycle, and see the graphic display of the adaption cycle. The last value will change to "Adapt OK" when done.

Default I agree, using the "key on" method sucks and has never worked as good for me

you NEED to get VWTOOL

Exactly! Plus it only takes about 3 seconds for the adaptation to occur using block 60
