Default What did I do?

I was backing up into a parking space but it was shaped like an L. Stupid move, but I was only looking in one mirror and didn't notice that there was a low curb (lower than bumper) and as I went over it it hit the underbody of my car-fuel tank I believe. Did I knock the rear sway bar out of its place or is this a fuel tank brace? Anyone know? I went around a turn today and lost traction but I don't know if it's just my crappy toyo all season tires? Any help would be great, thanks!

Default that's an evaporative tube that goes to the charcoal canister under the spare

your swaybar is just ahead of the fuel tank, you can just see it at the bottom right of the tank

Do I need to fix it soon, or can I drive like that for a week?

Default If it is broken, it will trigger the "gas cap" DTC. What it does?....answer inside

Due to all the tree huggers, the government now requires the capture of gas vapors. My understanding is that that tube is used to capture the gas vapors from your tank in a canister of carbon (mentioned earlier). The car will pump fresh air thru this canister and discarded it into your manifold to burn up the captured vapors thus restoring the capture capacity of the canister. If the tube is broken, you will get the EVAP leak code. You will also fail state emissions testing.

Emissions capture is also the reason for the newer gas pumps with the "snorkel" on the spout.
