i plant my foot probably at least once a day for a good 2nd gear pull. weekends is a lot more. but i never even dream of doing anything without engine and oil temp up to par.

Default What's the reason for the question? I've seen people take excellent care of the turb's and ....

they blow. I've also seen people abuse the pi$$ out of them and they don't.

I wouldn't worry, it will make no difference. I never get on them until at least 150 degrees; most would say 175 degrees.

Just enjoy it. what ever happens will happen. Although, I take great care of my car and only beat on it occasionally. I can live with my conscience if they go.

Default LOL.

Once the water temp is vertical the hammer goes down on my car. I laugh at the continuance of the oil temperature myth.
