Default What do you guys think about this, potential thief?

I got a message from a neighbor that on two seperate occasions, the first being saturday morning at about 4:00, the second being sunday at 11:30am, an unknown hooded gentleman paced back and forth along the perimeter of my gate back and forth looking into my driveway. He wasn't just walking up and down the block, only along my gate constantly staring into the yard. In the driveway is my 01 S4 (santorin, nice and lovely) and my brother's 02 electron blue Vette coupe.

The block is small and the gate pretty loud so i don't think total theft would be his goal. However I am concerned about my lights and everything else on both cars.

Is my neighbor being paranoid? I'm taking it seriously but what (realistically) should I do?

Make sure your insurance premiums are paid in FULL Probably just admiring the cars, though.

Default If he's inside my fence can I legally shoot him with my bow?

If so I'll just do some measuring and set some pins up on my sight. Go for a leg shot to immobilize and then prepare for questioning. I can hit a quarter at 25 yards. Don't think the gate is more than 15 from my door.

Default Those perimeter lights are usually a good enough deterrant

for novice thieves. I would get a security camera to trigger on motion if I were you. Think is, if they really want the car, they will take it. No sense endangering your life or the lives of your family of the situation turned hostile. Oh ya, Lo-Jack is a good way of probably getting your car back.

Glocks are always cocked if there is a bullet in the chamber.
