I was overheating my fronts (damn quattro throttle on-understeer)...
i'm much smoother a driver now, so perhaps they would have held up better if I drove on them today.
Just passing along my experiences...The did last over 25k miles with like 5 track days on them though.

I only know that b/c they are on his car (which I drove) mmmm that was fun!
Man that *** end on that car will brake loose with a stab of the throttle and it is soo much fun.
makes me really appreciate the 4 wd of our s4's though!!!!

Go figure, a AA temp tire with a block looking tread pattern can't dissipate the heat so it gets....
chuncked. Like my potenza RE 730's man those looked hedious after 2 track events!!! LOL!
