Thanks!!!!!
So here we go...after the second stage light, I torqued it to 2.5K rpms. Soon as the third yellow light went on, I just mashed it all the way to the floor past that little button thingy and let off the brake. That's all. I ran consistent 1.95s all day. Basically, I think you can rev it as high as your brakes can hold. I noticed that the car REALLY wanted to inch forward as the RPMs went past 2K. You just have to stand on the brake until the third yellow then let her rip!

w/ a TIP?

Yes, a Tip

Ok, I will try that. The fastest Tip yet recorded w/ a timeslip!!!!!

Awesome! Great example of how it's possible to win a street race with a slower car!

Forking A! Nice going!

Sweet! Best I pulled off with the 18's and rack was 14.2.
That was my only good launch of the night. I wonder what lighter 17s, no rack and 100 octane would so..
Others were 14.9s, 14.6s, 14.5s |
Very dumb question: can someone explain drag racing to me?
I see that the Audi won even though it had a higher ET and slower speed. I assume this is because the winner is determined by who crossed the line first, and that drivers start when the light goes green, but that the timing is started when the car leaves the start line? Meaning that a better reaction time puts a driver ahead on the track, and that even though the other dude went faster, because he spotted the Audi an X foot head start, he still loses?

Dunno, but
I raced an E46 M3 as well. He had the jump, I had the better ET, but he won. I had a 13.7 and he got a 14.1. Dunno how it works. I'm just happy with my ET.
