Default According to the Bentley manual, it'll turn itself on if the brake pedal is depressed...

Then off again once you are off the brakes. It should stay off if you are just on the gas.

Default It basically helps when the car feels like its losing control like into a turn you are going to hot

into. Snow is a different situation altogether.

Default Yeah, its got a nice habit of doing that at the limits of adhesion...

And thereby sending your car off the road/track.

One of the worst designed things on the car. Its great if you're putzing around town in the rain or snow, but its horrible if you are really pushing the car. Dangerous, in fact.

Default Isn't EBD basically electronic brake bias, and EDL is for transferring power side-to-side?

I thought EBD is designed for redistributing brake load front-rear in the event the car is heavily loaded or under heavy braking situations so the brake distribution is even. Where EDL (Electronic Differential Lock) Also working with the brakes and ABS sensors is for side-to-side power transfer.

Give you the impression that you can actually turn off the driver aid.
