Default what fuse on the '01 S4 can I use to hardwire Smartire System?

I have a valentine 1 hardwired into fuse #27 on my S4. I would like to hardwire smartire monitoring system. I read a post where someone used fuse #27 to do this. Is there any way to share this fuse or is there another fuse i can use?

Thanks in advance

Alex K.

Look or search for a Valentine one radar install and use that fuse.

'01's have an airbag label on the a-pillar side trim. I am installing a V1 (and SmarTire) on my S4 this weekend. I built a mount that attaches to the center mirror post for my A4 that I transferred to the S4. The sunroof wiring looks like a good spot to pick up power for the V1, and I won't have to fool around with a-pillar airbag.

I plan on mounting the SmarTire display in the glovebox, as it is a less-than-beautiful unit. I have the one in the Z3 mounted there. You can hear it when it beeps, even with the top down, and it is still readable. It looks a bit to big to mount in the ashtray which would be my first choice.

Another note re SmarTire. If you plan on running snow tires, an additional set of wheel sensors can be ordered directly from SmarTire (888) 982-3001. They are very nice people to deal with.

thanks for the reply. Are there any instructions or pictures on how to wire to the sunroof?

Can you explain the mount that you built for the V1, because i'm using the suction cups and don't like them.

Also i spoke to the smartire and they are working on releasing the second generation system, which has a smaller and sleeker looking display module.

Thanks

Alex

Forgot to mention.

I have the power cable for V1 running along the a-pillar between the windshield and the trim. Can this obstruct the airbag from deploying or malfunction?

thanks
