Default Well, I started with Zaino, then tried the IHG and Blitz combo.

I thought the results were comparable, but the Zaino was lots easier to apply and remove and it doesn't leave as much white residue as the Blitz. I'm now back to Zaino, and use IHG to remove any fine scratches. Just my $.02

Default Klasse AIO & Klasse SG once a year...

followed by Blitz as often as you like. Substitute Pinnacle Souveran for the Blitz if you want the best results for a black car, this stuff is expensive however (~$70 for 8 oz). Use Eimann Fabrik Clear Pearl or Pinnacle Crystal Mist (Expensive) for quick detail.

Another option is the Zaino routine. If you go this route and do not use a wax over the Zaino, don't use the quick detailers listed above since they both contain carnauba.

Default I used 3M perfect-It Professional stuff on a 3500rpm wheel, worked wonders on a friends black TT...

It's great stuff for getting out all kinds of scratches, marks, whatever. i was at first VERY afraid of using a wheel on a black car, but I have now done it twice on black, once on a dark blue (myself), and just helped a friend use it on a 2000 180TT w/ 20K miles. I'll try to get him to make digi pix and post them... We used their 'hand glaze' as a 'wax' layer but I'm not sure if that be the intended use or not... looks perty tho.

Default probly not, but...

I wouldn't use the wheel on a new car like that. I tried it on a 1x1 foot spot on my mothers new e-class and it looked to me like it actualy HURT the shine, woops. If I had a lot of scratches and swirls I might use both products by hand once, cover it with One Grand and see what all that does. On her e-class I use two coats of Meguirs yellow #26 (liquid, not as good as the paste), nothing else, and it looks ab fab with 1 year and 17K miles. BTW, newer benz paint chips as easily as our Audi stuff...
Couldn't hurt to use the 3M stuff on yours, but I think, like you, I'd stay away from a wheel on a new car, no need to go there. Same goes for clay bars- I don't like these at all anyway, too risky IMO...
