what happens if I hold down the P.SCAN button while turning the radio power on?
supposedly, presets 1 through 6 open up as hidden codes for frequency, SVC, etc. anyone know of these and how to work them?

you are correct...
you can change the SVC (amount volume increases or decreases according to speed), power on volume, NAV/Phone speaker volume, and a few other things.
to access them, with the radio off, hold the pscan button and turn on the radio. then use the pscan button to step thru the options. one of the ***** adjusts the levels. i cant remember which one. 50/50 shot so i'll say its the one on the right.
