What has better light output... Stock S4 Xenons or Euro Projectors (Non Xenon)

What has better light output... Stock S4 Xenons or Euro Projectors (Non Xenon)
I am in Canada so our S4's don't have Xenons (for some pretty dumb reasons) and I am torn between two options:
1) Buy stock US S4 Xenon Housings and install an HID Kit (McCulloch or something like that).
or
2) Just buy Euro A4/S4 Housings and forget about Xenons.
What would you do?
What will give me better overall results?

Euro A4/S4 housings? That won't do didley squat........
unless you upgrade to some type of HID kit. Either stock US S4 housings and a Xenon kit...or just ante up and get Euro Xenon Ecodes and Xenons. Don't skimp out...but if u do need to save some $$$...go for option 1. Option 2 gives u the same light output as your current halogens.

I have euro-spec Bosch Audi halogen headlights on my 89 200 TQ and like them better than the S4 Xenons. And boy do they light up the night. The S4 xenons have a poor patern in my opinion.
