Default what is the idea on thermotec products?

I have my engine out and was wondering if taping the exhaust manifold, intake pipes and compressor housing would be a good idea? Has anyone tried?
I read an article on European Car about an turbo m3, and they used thermotec stuff all over.<ul><li><a href="http://www.thermotec.com/products/products.html">http://www.thermotec.com/products/products.html</a</li></ul>

Default do did you wrap your piggies from the trubo to exaust?

did you use the heat barrier or the thermal wrap?
do you think its a good idea for the manifold?

Default When i did it i wrapped all the dps. I used this kit has the spray and everything....

I didnt have to take off the mani or turbos when i used it, but if i were to pull either again i would probably wrap them again. I forsee that happening in the future as im in need of properly fitting dps that dont rattle with ko4s on my car<ul><li><a href="http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&amp;part=DEI%2D010112& amp;N=700+400384+115&amp;autoview=sku">http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&amp;part=DEI%2D010112& amp;N=700+400384+115&amp;autoview=

Default so has anyone done it to the manifolds?

i'm not sure about the manifold, don't want it to crack.
but seems like a good idea to do it to turbo compressor and intake pipes.

Default I wouldn't wrap stock or AWE/ASP Exhaust manifold. Definetly can wrap the DP (but not cats)

See my sig for pics of wrapped UrS4 &amp; S4
