Default what kind of helmets to use for track? is SA2000 the right specification
someone told me to browse www.racerwholesale.com are the helmets they have for sale comparable to BELL and Simpson helmets?

yes. SA2000 is the most current spec. I have a Simpson SA95 one.

Get the 2000, many clubs will disallow Snell95 in the next year or two.

Default Will they allow Arai fullface cycle helmets (Rx7) ??...
i dont really want to spend the extra money if i dont have to...

Default cycle helmets generally don't have the fire resistant liner (nomex) required ..
for track racing. They are usually accepted for autocrossing though.

Most lapping events will as long as they meet spec

Default Some will, so long as it is within their current rev
that may mean M95 or M00. Check with whomever is sanctioning the event.
