Default what is "real" when you're talking about a progressive spring?

it's 670f/620r, btw, at the max according to both PureMS & StartUp. will you get to that rate in use? doubtful.

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/2611539.phtml

Default so I guess with the progressive springs the "real" rate would be the working range...

which is 500 to 590 front and 440 to 570 rear.

Default Posted nearly 4 years ago to the date. With dyno

Back when we first introduced Vogtland coilovers to the Audi/VW scene.

Spring Rates

These are still one of our most popular coilovers!

The first set of numbers is a kit that is no longer available.

why do both the 1st & 2nd set have A4 quattro. is one for the 1.8 & the other for the 2.8?

Default "Front 62.2-64.8N/mm (351.6-366.3lb/in)" <= is that a typo for the first set? 15 lb/in

range in the progressive front with so much more range on the 2nd sets front springs (~300lb/in range)? also the rear springs have a huge range too.

that doesn't make sense to me at all. seems like the first car's balance would be way off if the rear was working like the 2nd car's (identical rates), but the front's didn't have a similar ramp up in spring rates.

Default "The first set of numbers is a kit that is no longer available." It was originally a 1.6L/1.8L kit

Vogtland US thought it would work on the 1.8T, but we tested it and discovered it sucked so we had them discontinue it and only carry the 968417, the second set of numbers listed.
