Default What to use to remove adhesive on my rocker panel? Thanks!

Just found yesterday (after a day of my purchase) that there are still adhesive there. Also there are some scratches, which I guess were made when they were removing this stuff. My dealer is off today, but I feel a little disappointed with all that crap.
It was dark when I picked up my car, so I didn't really see any stuff left there...

Goo Gone works great, any home depot will have it.

Default I'd try something mild like Goo Gone or a Bug & Tar remover product....

...depending on how much you need to remove, you might want to consider rewaxing that area after you remove the adhesive.

Default watch out for some of those Bug&Tar removers - it scares me when they work *too* well. Also, WD40..

works well on left-over adhesive

Default Same exact thing happened to me! and I just found out how to get it off last week...

Use P21S Total Auto Wash. It's a citrus degreaser recommended to me by Larry Reynolds of Car Care Specialties. You spray it on, leave it for 10 minutes, and then just wip the stuff right off. The adhesive came right off. They say it's also good for removing tar spots, spots from carpeting or headliners, cleaning the engine compartment, etc. Just keep in mind that if you use it on the body, it will strip away all the wax, so follow it up with some fresh wax.

Car Care Specialties
