I took the cupped tires that I had put on the front and moved them to the back, and that cut down on the vibration somewhat.

The guy I bought the wheels/tires from said he didn't have a problem with them on his A4, but he was also running some kind of aftermarket suspension, and I'm stock.

Might this explain why he didn't have a problem (or so he claims) and I do?

I'm still hoping it's just the tires and not any bends in the wheels that I can't see. I'll know for sure when I go in to get the tires changed next week.

Default If the car was lowered, it might have been riding more on the inside

edge of the tires. How do they look wear-wise?

With your stock suspension, you are probably more on the flat surface of the tire.

That makes sense. The tires are thicker on the outside. They're worn about 50%.
