Default What would cause fuel-cut? more...

Going around a sweeping corner under heavy throttle in 3rd gear. The road was rough, and the suspension about topped out once or twice... the car was cutting throttle. Why would it do that if the car does not have ESP? Does that have something to do with the EDL? This car is really starting to **** me off with all it's idiosyncrecies.

BTW... I'm the owner of the slowest Stage II S4 in the country.

Default Rough road causes EDL. Meaning that the ABS is hitting the brakes on the wheels with excessive

spin. It may also close the throttle, but not fuel cut.

Default I can't believe you didn't comment on this quote....

"This car is really starting to **** me off with all it's idiosyncrecies."

That is so funny to read cause thats all me and anthony say to each other when we work on the audi's...Trust me man this is just one of the many idiosyncracies/redundancies/failsafes that this car has in it...Me and blitz have it pretty well figured out but there were times when we wanted to pull our hair out!

He was in 3rd...I don't believe EDL functions at those speeds.
