What'd you guys use to keep the insert stuck to the rob knob? I'm thinking rubber cement..

What'd you guys use to keep the insert stuck to the rob ****? I'm thinking rubber cement..
The double sided tape that it came with does not hold at all, especially when the **** is subject to heat retention.
