not sure what the widebody folks run, but 255x35x18 on stock fenders is the widest i've seen...

no. i think most have rolled their fenders, but that's all.

Those 255 Kumho's run narrow.

ryans4 04-16-2002 12:34 PM

i know folks running 255x35x18 Toyo T1S' as well...(none on S03's though)

BTW: 255/40-17 on 9's do rub a bit and limit lowering.

0700 04-16-2002 12:38 PM

People just have to understand these two are narrow tires

Do that with Yoko's and it's rub city.

x-ricer has 235/35-19 (8.5" et35) and 245/35-19 (9.5" et40), but..

he is not able to go as low as the 225 crowd.

235/35-19 seems to be the norm on et38-40, but based on Got Audi?'s experience with 235/35-19 on et35, he also cannot go as low without occasional rubbing.

I have et35's which NEED 225/35-19's not to rub with crazy lowering.

I'm considering 225/35-19 front and 255/30 rear because of rubbing wqith et35, OR 255/30 all the way around. Buying two Rosso's to test today.
