When should the battery be replaced?
Still on original battery after 6 years and 75,000 kms. Starts, especially in winter a hair slower than normal. What is the replacement battery of choice these days? Model number would be great. Optima Red Top reverse polarity used to be popular I think on this board a few years ago.

Mine died after 4 years 40k miles with no warning at all and left me stranded in a parking lot
So if i were you i would just replace it now because it seems like it will die sooner or later so better to not be stuck somewhere in the cold

I'm at 4.5yrs/65k miles. Engine is cranking more slowly on starts recently. I'm replacing...
this weekend with the Odyssey PC925. I was going to go PC680 because I live in a temperate climate (48F-75F all year round) with occasional weekend trips to the mountains (usually 20F-35F) but I want the piece of mind of a larger battery (it's still small though). STFA for OEM sized replacements.
