Where to buy s4 in Chicago area?

rao 05-18-2001 08:29 AM

Wherever is the cheapest. The inventory of S4's is pretty high now - I counted 16 S4's at

Continental last week.

I recommend Continental in Naperville!

They sold me my 2001 Nogaro beauty!

that is where i shall be getting mine next fri (or at least put the deposit to lock it in)!

when i return to IL, but i am not gonna buy the car actually from continental...

Just called over there, they don't negotiate over the phone, i'm about 175 miles away!

Don't overlook dealers in Wisconsin. Friend just paid $38.5 for S4 6speed. more

A friend of mine at work just got his 2001 S4. He called all the dealers around here, then called some in Wisconsin. He ended up with a great deal on a new car from a Wisconsin dealer. He did have to drive a couple of hours to get it but no big deal. He put the savings into mods.

I did the same thing with my M3. I bought mine with 20K miles on it from a dealer in Chicago. My point is not to overlook out of state dealers.

Good luck,
MNM3/4

P.S. e-mail me and I'll ask him which dealer if you'd like.

Try Napleton's in Rockford, IL. I know they have three S4s on the lot they they're willing to deal on (seems to me they wanted $1200 over invoice). Call Troy at 815-636-6600 for all the details.

BTW, I am not affiliated with Napleton's, and Troy has been a friend of mine LONG before he became Napleton's Audi specialist. He's a good guy.

Try Faxing -- I have bought 2 cars that way -- They take my credit card for a deposit

Find out what is in stock and make them a fax offer w/ your sig. They should respond.
With a tradein of course they wont negotiate -- tey have to see it. Good luck!

FWIW, those guys jacked me around last year when I was shopping for my car and then called me

constantly after I bought the car elsewhere.

Was there yesterday... they have at least 15 hanging out in the lot... lots of choices!
