for the weight or for the look? marc (bigbluemachine) used to have a fiberglass one, I don't
know where he got it, but I do remeber it being significantly cheaper than the carbon one and the weight was actually slightly less from what he said... only downside is it will need to be painted.

found it,,, it was a vortrag trunk (good luck finding that) but only weighed in at 10 lbs.

You can probably find a glass one easily, half the parts on those "OEM parts discount" websites are
glass, I remember needing a hood for my Jetta and finally the woman broke down and told me it was glass after I kept on asking her if it was metal. Worse comes to worse take it to a shop and have them make you one.
