Default Where is a clutch replacement write up? Zip in tech articles. So many people

are doing them, I figured there has to be a write up, right?

A friend of mine, who has done many, but none on an S4, said he would help me, but not without a write up.

Thanks,

Default We just started talking seriously about it yesterday, so I'm not sure.

He is in Kenmore and has a pretty nice shop in his garage, no lift, though.

If I land a few business deals, I'll go full out with a turbo, IC and clutch upgrade. If not, I think I'll just need to do the clutch.

Again, it's early and I'll likely post on this topic again. I haven't even looked at my Bentley manual yet.

Default It's written up in the Bentley pretty well.

I found it easier pulling the engine and tranny as 1 assembly. I couldn't imagine trying to line up the bell housing with the crank while it's still in the car. It was hard enough when it was all out.

I think that is the way to go, especially with no lift.

Default flywheel does not come with new clutch kit, you need to at least resurface your current one.

bolts come with the flywheel, i reused the pp bolts.
