I got a hold of a couple HKS ssqv copies off ebay. The valve is identical to an HKS but the c-clip isn't the beveled style that comes with the real HKS. It's a bent standard c-clip that is the same size as the recess routed in the flange so it doesn't press down on the o-ring hard enough when installed. Consequently the valve leaks at the adapter and builds boost too slow. I'm trying to round up a couple beveled HKS c-clips to solve the problem. I've seen them on the web but they're like $22 or some retarded amount like that. I'll even settle for regular c-clips and bevel them myself but I don't know who would have them. Any suggestions??? On a more important note. I am aware of the perceived disadvantages of running BOV's on a maf car yadda yadda yadda. I'm doing this HKS thing to screw around but I would like it to work, thus the c-clip request.
