Whistle When I boost
 

Ok after my crazy day at the dyno I noticed on the drive to work this morning my turbo would whistle a bit louder than normal. almost like one of those whistle makes your blow thru. lower rpms in 2nd and 3rd gear. I don't appear to be losing any boost and back pressure is same. Any thoughts? I hope and pray this isn't the turbo going to ****. I was thinking maybe a boost leak but like i said I don't appear to be losing power. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Pressure test to make sure..if no leaks, it is what it is..

If there are no leaks does that mean the turbo is about to go?

Is it only when building boost or when you have reached full boost? Noise is normal when building
 

boost down low.

Spooling sound is normal then right at boost it starts to whistle in 2nd and 3rd gear.

yup, grab your ankles and hold on

Please pressure test and log if possible. Until then stay off the boost!

TJ, what did you determine about your car?

I pick up a VAG tomorrow I have my logs from my dyno just in excel need help reading them

Mine did that when I had a little boost leak......twist of one clamp and all was good.
