Yes.. the tuned ecu feels like exact same torque curve.. only more torque! Lot's more torque!

No ping, no lag, perfect drivability and so fourth.. all points on curve elevated.

1st gear feels like you are shot out of a cannon.

I've never made so many excuses with my wife to run errands!

It doesn't just FEEL like the same curve, Steve, it is! They've got a chart on their web site; the curves are identical, just higher up on the chart.

I gotta get one! One question - do you find any problems with traction? I've noticed that the S4, unlike the A4, is capable of spinning wheels on dry cornering, managing to overcome the quattro..

I have found no problems with traction at all.. quite the opposite.. you feel the quattro clinging to the pavement.

However, I have not dropped the clutch and floored it in first gear. So, I would bet that you could spin tires if you really flogged it.. which I don't want to do with MY car!

Another question: What does it do to the noise? Different exhaust note, throatier, louder, air whine in the turbo?
