I'm buying a used S4 in the next 2 months (silver/onyx, 6-speed, cold-weather, convenience, etc. -- if you see one, let me know).

Anyhoo, since I'll have to keep this car for about 7 years, I'm wondering what mileage you may have and what major repairs you've had to do.

Also, how much $$$ were your repairs?

I have had the following maintenance done during the course of my ownership (from new):

1) Audi OTS replaced all five of my tires with Bridgestone RE730s after I had three bubbles in two tires in 5 days at about 4500 miles
2) Torn TBB caused loss of power (noticeable at 3800-4000 RPM) at about 7000 miles
3) Currently in progress: MAF sensor is running rich, doesn't affect performance, but that orange light is annoying at night. MAF sensor due in 2 weeks...

I have had a few rattles that have been fixed. Overall, the dealers here in Denver have been very good at taking care of these issues. I have no complaints and I love the car! I have a 48 mo lease, and I will keep it until the end. I have not paid for a single repair.

I do buy my own Mobil 1 oil to have them put in during the the last three out of the four total services I have had. That's the only expense.

And I will be needing new summer tires shortly...
