Who here uses their Valentine 1 on the dash instead of the windshield?
Work well there? I know the best place is the top above the mirror, but thats not an option. My old Bel Vector 960 worked well on top of the dash... I just don't have any experience with the V1 I ordered earlier today!

I've had mine on the dash for years without any issues.....tried it above the mirror for a year and
didn't like not being able to look thru that part of the windshield....I know it's knit picking but preferred the dash location for an unobstructed view.

I ran my V1 for years in the middle of windshield where it met the dash....
A few months ago (maybe even 6), I moved it to the top driver's side corner of the windshield with the wiring hidden behind the driver's side A pillar and I much prefer thiis setup.
FWIW, I've *never* gotten a speeding ticket with either one...going 5 years strong.
