Who makes a good replacement air filter (OEM replacement; not K&N)?

Who makes a good replacement air filter (OEM replacement; not K&N)?
Should I just grab one from my local stealership, or is there an equvilent (or better) OEM replacement filter sold at places like AutoZone? TIA.

ECS sells the Mann brand (same as OEM but without the Audi logo). Wix sells one that used to be a
repackaged Mann filter, but the last one I saw was made in Mexico (IIRC). Purolator makes one, if you are in a pinch. I would order via the web from ECS, Clair parts, etc. and get a Mann brand. Purolator is the only one that you could get at AutoZone or the like. (advance auto parts in my area carries Purolator, but I would say not quite as good as the Mann one)
