Why do I get flipped the bird so much in my S4? (long rant)
It just seems to happen so often now, and my driving style hasn't changed in over 35 years of driving, so it can't be me!
I'm driving home from work in a slight drizzle, still daylight, doing my usual 75 in a 65 zone. It's a fairly rural road (Rt176 between the Pa tpk exit22 and Reading for those familiar) and I come upon some traffic. About 3 or 4 cars in the right lane doing 65 and a Honda Accord in the left going about 68-70. I stay back about 5-6 car lengths and patiently wait for him to clear the other cars. No flashing of lights, I figure he's passing so he's not being dicourteous. So he clears the cars and I wait for him to pull back to the right lane. After he gets about 6-7 car lengths in front of the other cars, it's obvious he's not pulling over, so I pull into to right lane and start passing him at my usual 75mph. He speeds up so I speed up a little because I hate cars riding right along side of me. (Limits my escape routes in case anything jumps out at me) So I speed up to about 80 and this guy hangs just off my left quarter panel. I figure, what a jerk and I just let it go and continue to cruise at 80mph for the next 4-5 miles with this guy just hanging there. We then approach an on ramp and there are 2 cars coming up the ramp and I'll obviously be interfering with there merge if I maintain my speed. So I tap the gas and I'm about 5 car lengths in front of this Accord in no time. I signal and pull in front of him to let the merging traffic on. HE FLIPS ME THE BIRD!
WTF did I do to warrant that type of gesture? This isn't the first time, I get flipped alot since I've had the S4. Maybe they don't like old geezers in nice cars? Is it just me?

I know what you mean...this happens to me everytime
I drive my S4 versus my old Acura Legend and the way I drive does not change all that much between the 2 cars. Oh well...I guess that is just the way SoCal drivers are...
