Default it was dead even from about 40 to 130 against my Tip S4 Avant
the boxter s guy seemed a little PO'd he couldn't lose my wagon!

Default Boxter 0-60 in 5.9 - S4 wins; Boxter S 0-60 in 5.4 - Would depend on Driver, although with the low
torque peak of the S4, I would think it has the edge.

Default uh because one's a family sedan and the other is a roadster
number to number I hear ya. but for the "purist" there is no comparison, handling wise the Boxster S will spank the S4 the way the S4 will spank it at speed. It's just a different comparison, It's like saying my RS4 beat your 360 modena. Sure it can be done but that's not what it was designed for.

2 very different types of cars with 2 very different goals/reasons for building.

I love my s4 and my friend loves his Boxster s, but it's just 2 different. My o2.cents. BTW I do want a boxster S!!!!
