Why is every one selling there Yokohama AVS Sport's?
#2
several reasons . . .
moving into winter (we don't really have that problem), some people are "cupping" them them because they upsized the tires on the stock wheel & messed up the tread & footprint. other reasons slip my mind at the moment, but I think treadwear is also an issue (around 140-180 I believe).
Downpipes in yet?

The biggest issue has got to be noise...
...and despite the treadwear rating, AVS Sports last a long time and can take a lot of aggressive driving without wearing much. Mine lasted longer than I expected, and in a 17" size I endured the noise, but once I went to a quieter tire, I did enjoy it again.

Agree. I've gotten some great mileage outta mine.
But they are pretty noisy now. I don't care much can't much, it's less annoying than my rattles.
RichL used to have AVS's and they lasted much longer than his T1's, which looked pretty bad when I saw them.
They cut through water better than I expected, but feel a little slippery as far as grip is concerned (but mine are half worn).
