I think it was meant that there is a higher rate of pass turbo failure.

Default about time someone looked in to this more

it was suggested/hypothesized long ago that the oil line(s) were one of the main causes/issues resulting in turbo failure on our cars...never saw much detail on it though.

you could get the OEM stuff that wraps around 1.8t turbo oil supply lines.

Make sure it's the heavy gauge stuff, or it wont stay in place.
