why in the world is my VAG-COM/LEMMI prog. not able to read ECU?
I still haven't figured out why i'm getting this "timed out" error from my vag-com... would recycling the ECU do anything?

strange observation with my ECUx.
If I try to start logging from the graph screen, it almost always works. If I start from the gauge screen then it almost always does not work. Most of the time I restart windows. And if you reinstall the software you will need a new reg key from APR. Getting the key for that install would be difficult.

well yes!! my ABS controller is toast!! hmm....
but why would that not let vag-com connect to the ECU... same result with lemmiwinks as well.
I'll try unplugging the ABS module and see what happens.
